Alison joined the Dean Lab in July 2015. She completed her B.S. in Zoology at NC State University in 2005 and her M.S. in Cellular and Structural Biology at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2009. The focus of her research was in DNA damage repair via homologous recombination in vivo. As Osteo Engineering lab manager, Alison coordinated the day to day activity in the lab, guided our student research assistants, and was involved in the tissue culture studies and developing implants.
